Erin....

Erin's first day back to school (actually it is the "Murray Adult Transition program") She was very excited....Me not so much!

Instead of having the school bus pick her up at our home and dropping her off at the High School, she now takes Trax and a transfer to a city bus out to SLCC. I really am trying to get on board with this. Just give me a year or 2.

Here she is allready for me to take her to trax. Notice she thinks she is going to drive.....such a "funny" girl!

Here she is walking across the street to catch trax with other students and a teacher.

Its hard to tell the teachers from the students.....And YES I followed in my car to make sure she safely got off trax and onto the bus....and YES I followed that bus to SLCC. Ok fine, say it, I know, I am Over protective! Its a curse, I live with everyday....LOL

I picked her up at SLCC, and boy was she tired, and a little grouchy (to be expected). The good news is, she will only be going on Tuesday and Thursday for now. She is taking an Institute class, and working on some community skills. Then we might add going on Fridays also. Oh the Fun we will have this year. Wish us all luck!

The Garden

We haven't had a garden for a few years, because of fixing up our old house and moving into the Winchester house. So we decided to give a garden a try here at Winchester. We picked the spot that had the most sun. When we started it was spread out pretty good.

We also put in a rock walkway to divide the garden from the water feature. We lined it with petunias hoping the snails would feast on them and not the garden. So far its been a good plan.

Unfortunately the pumpkins took over the garden, and the walkway.

The nice thing is there are about 10 pumpkins.

The other nice thing is that we have tons of tomatoes, and cucumbers, a few peppers and some corn. Bruce can finally have his homemade spagetti sauce. I'm also going to try some salsa recipes, so if anyone has a great salsa recipe shoot me an e-mail.

Sometimes He just Cracks me up....

Actually it is MOST of the time that he cracks me up. Mckai came walking down the hall the other day dressed like this. I stopped laughing long enough to grab my camera.

He couldnt understand why we were laughing....He was dead serious in this get-up. Too cute!

Finally he gave me this cheesy smile, when I told him " You're the cutest boy in the whole world, and I love you tons"

More Millcreek Canyon Pictures....

Not much going on here at our house...unless you count watching the "Grass" grow (more on that later). So here are a few more pictures from the canyon.

Mckai is pretending the log is a bucking Bronco, and he is staying on for 8 seconds.

Erin wanted all of us to wear a party hat. Everyone was such good sports and put their hats on.

Celebrating up the canyon

We headed up Millcreek Canyon on Erin's Birthday. To Celebrate, and take pictures.
Erin loved all her presents, thanks everyone.

Then comes the fun part (for me anyway) Taking pictures. I must say the boys were a little more willing this year. Here is Brandon And Mandy.

Then we tried to get Mckai to sit still to take a picture with his Mom & Dad. As you can see he is quite the ham....just not for the camera. Next year I need to give better bribes.

Here is Nathan and Emily, I have to do A LOT of photo shopping on Nathan. He is such a ....

well lets just say he is BIG STINKER!!

Here is Nathan, Emily, & Erin....I just love Erin, she will always do her best when I have my camera pointed at her.

Here is all of us together minus Jason :( He couldnt be there he started a new job and couldn't leave. He stopped by earlier to. wish Erin a Happy Birthday.

Kisses for Jason.
